- "Tiger King 2," a follow-up to the popular documentary series, is now available to watch on Netflix.
- The new season continues the story of zookeeper Joe Exotic following his arrest.
- A basic subscription to Netflix starts at $9 a month for standard definition (SD) picture quality.
"Tiger King 2" debuted November 17 on Netflix. The new season serves as a follow-up to the wildly popular "Tiger King" docuseries that premiered in March 2020.
Joe Maldonado-Passage, aka Joe Exotic, operated a private zoo for big cats before going to prison for attempting to hire someone to murder one of his rivals, Carole Baskin. "Tiger King 2" continues where the first season left off, examining the ferocious world of private zoos and the distinctive people who are involved.
Baskin is suing Netflix over "Tiger King 2." The lawsuit argues that she never signed a release for subsequent projects after the original "Tiger King." The first season of "Tiger King" holds an "85% Certified Fresh" rating on review-aggregation website Rotten Tomatoes.
